How to Send via eMail <TWL>MoHAA screenshots:
We at <TWL> do not cheat and do not allow cheats to play on our servers, not that some of us have not, but when we became <TWL>, we SWORE not to use CHEATS of any kind and to play by the RULES. To enforce our Server rules, <TWL> MoHAA Game Servers run Anti-CHEAT programs. From time to time, the Anti-Cheat program may FORCE screenshots of your system in various forms. THIS is all automatic. You may be clean, but to protect you and me, or any of us, we are ALL TESTED by the Anti-Cheat programs.
SOME times the Anti-Cheat might have some reason to expect that you could be cheating and so it will FORCE automatic Screenshots. This is done by sending commands to your MoHAA game to tell it to take a Screenshot, just like you do if you hit the F12 key (or whatever you have screenshots mapped to on your keyboard.)
The screenshots are saved in the same folder where MoHAA saves all screenshots, except they will have a name like, "YourEmail@Admin.com_Action_726.tga" or "YourEmail@Admin.com_Models_373.tga" where the type of screenshot and number will be different, but the name starts with an YourEmail@Admin.com. Most time you will have 24 hours to send the email, but in some cases, where cheating is expected, you will be given a ip & name ban until the screenshots are received and checked by one of us <TWL> ADMIN types.
To send the screenshot find the folder which by default is:
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\Main\screenshots\
You can use your "Start/Search/For Files or Folders" function, found in the lower left of your desktop @ the Windows Start Icon. Just search for: "Screenshots"
Start you email client, outlook, outlook express, MSN Hotmail, what ever you use. Address it to "postmaster@thewarlegends.com" or use this link twl_viper@hotmail.com. In the email, include your real name & your MoHAA NickName you were using when the shots were taken. Say what you want in the body of the message, but be nice. This is a pain in the Ass for us TOO, BUT we play in a CHEAT-Free Zone and hope you want too also.
Do a mail attachment of the screenshots to the email. ALL email clients have this feature. You already know where to look for the screenshots. JUST SEND the screenshots as taken and DO NOT pack them or change them in any way, since the system is looking for the original shoot with date and size as it had your computer take.
Should you have been BAN by the system AND after we get the Screenshots we forget to UNBAN you, then send a email to twl_viper@hotmail.com and request that the BAN be removed. A <TWL> ADMIN will lift the ban put on by the system if you are CLEAN.
I hope you realize that this is a BIG PAIN in the BUTT for everyone, but itis the price of keeping the players BOTH GREAT and POOR out of our games when they are cheating. Even when we keep them out, having to check out GREAT and CHEAT FREE players makes us ALL feel a little less of ourselves.
