ANZAC day

Post by Paul.nz »

Today is ANZAC day so i got up at 4 am and went to the dawn parade like i do each year.It was a moving service ad the speaches were very well read.Once again a lot of young kids there to honour the fallen soldiers.
For the first time after singing our national anthem we sung the australian anthem and in australia services they also sung the new zealand anthem. This is new and we will do it each year from now on.
Normally the airforce flys over in their helicopters in formation but it didn't happen this year.Later in the day we found out one crashed on the way and killed 3 soldiers and the fourth is in serious condition.Today is always a sad day here but unfortunatly soldiers died honouring our fallen soldiers so it is very sad indeed.
I didn't take my camera this year so i didn't get any new photos.

We Will Never Forget Them.
