Spearhead vs Breakthrough

I was noticing that some maps or skins are not working. I know about the skins at TWL. However, is the a difference between loading maps in Spearhead vs Breakthrough? Should maps be loaded into Mainta or Main or Mainta Maps on which? Maybe there is no difference(not with my luck), but I sure would like to know.

they should all work from the main - but if its a spearhead map and you use BT - then it may not work well or at all. likewise if its a bt map and your using SH.

remember our servers are spearhead. all maps in the map paks are aa and or sh maps. except for the bt map pak. so put your aa in your main and or your sh in your ta and put your bt in your tt unless its sh from an aa pak for your ta you can run it in either. gotit? lol

or just use my execute and it will do the hard work for you.

I don't have a SH disk anymore, that's why I use the smg all the time. But that's fine. So, I can assume that if a map doesn't work, I can just shift it to the right folder? Hey, I could just put them all the folders, or is that a BAD idea?

thats not good because then you will start to overide things that are properly installe with things that are improperly installed :pc:

my exec says what folder it should go in. list the maps your having trouble with - and ill tell you where they should go.

that's ok - if the server is Spearhead and you use spearhed then put those maps in the mainta. if you use breakthrough - well then your best shot is to put them in the main. But some spearhead maps just dont like breakthrough - so i recommend you use Spearhead for custom aa and sh maps.

Rodger Dodger. I think we're on the some page. You phrased it quite well. Spearhead server or Spearhead CD. I am crystal clear thanks to you. I know that all the map packs that I downloaded from TWL automatically went right into the Mainta and they all worked. It's the packs from others that I may have to sort a bit.
