Target's New Toy!

This is the very first Rosenbauer Panther airport crash truck ever delivered to a Canadian airport and my reason for not being on line lately. It carries 3300 gallons of water and 400 gallons of foam concentrate. It has both a roof turret and a bumper turret for a combined discharge rate of over 1600 gallon per minute. Also has a 3000w extendable light tower on the roof, air and electrical reels and FLIR and colour cameras.

It weighs 78,000 lbs and is powered by a 665hp Series 60 Detroit Diesel....0-50mph in less than 35 seconds with a top speed of 75mph.

I've spent the last two years researching, designing and overseeing it's production and Woody simply loves it...................one very cool truck, and only $700,000USD!

Thanks bro! Guys like you and Woody make me feel somewhat safer when I fly. Knowing we have trained professionals on the ground when we crash you guys can put our asses out with a $700,000USD firetruck! :mrgreen:

I like your truck better...this is all I get to play with!!

Ouch;

Woody thinks it's his very own special truck. In fact the first day I DID let him drive, he was out in it for 6 hours by himself.

I'm away the second and third week of May, but your welcome to come out anytime after that. I'm back on duty starting the 25th, and Woody and I will both be here on Sunday the 27th. I'll send you a PM with my cell number.

Coffee's always on, Bro...................bring Rusty with you.

Take care,

R.
