I need some help getting my spearhead to work on windows vista os. I've tried compatibility wizard but cant seem to get the settings right. what happens is it shows splash screen, loads console, then crashes to a black screen. I bring up the task mamager and it says progrqam not responding. So any help i can get would be appreciated.

Vista Sucks!
You have to turn off the Aero settings that Vista has. The Aero is graphic intense and still runs in the background even when trying to run games or other programs.
This is Vista's minimum system requirements (Supposedly):
1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
1 GB of system memory
40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
WDDM Driver
128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
32 bits per pixel
Which really means that you need at minimum:
2 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
2 GB of system memory
100 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
Support for DirectX 10 graphics with:
WDDM Driver
512 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
Pixel Shader 3.0 in hardware
32 bits per pixel
This was the big problem for me when I switched to Vista. I'm much happier now that I'm back with XP but sad that I wasted almost $300!!! :pc:

Does anybody run this game in vista? If so how?

When I built this new system, I installed Vista Ultimate and quite frankly...I Love It!!! All of the issues that I had with it when I was Beta testing RC1 I was not going to make the plunge.
The only reason why I was holding off on installing the final release was I kept hearing everyone say that MOH will not play on Vista. WRONG!
With a few extremely minor fixes, mainly video card issues, MOH runs like a champ. I had the system up and running with MOH that evening.
The only thing wrong with new things in life is that people hate change. Everyone has the attitude, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!". I disagree...if you can make it better, more power to ya!!!
If you make the transition to Vista, I will gladly help anyone out!!
