Low Virtual Memory VPU Failure.

Post by kelli0n »

Okay, sometimes when in play on twl my screen goes black for a few seconds and the game comes back on but very dark. I have to go to menu and change the brightness. When I leave the game and go back to desktop the screen is at 600x800 res, i run it at 1240x1200 res and there is a message that my virtual memory is low amd my VPU crashed. I run a ATI Pro700X card, it a older card. Do I need A upgrade? Any help appreciated. :sos:

Do you have the current drivers? do you overclock?, is it full of dust? some say to disable vpu recovery. Seems several people are experiencing this problem with ati. Google it!

1280 seems high to me - try 1024.

Thanks for the help cowlitz. I think I found the problem, when I downloaded some of the maps and stuff and after opening the files and installing them I got a video adjustment and set them to highest. I just had to bump them down a bit.
