Some info on PC specs for Airborne

Post by FragQueen »

They've been so tightlipped about the system requirements for MOHA I've had one heck of a time finding any info. This sheds some light and indicates whether you might need to upgrade to play or not. Hope it helps and hope this doesn't tank like PA or COD2.

Yes Frag, sometimes it is difficult to keep your computer up to par for any new game. It is a racket, both EA, Intel, AMD, Nvidia and ATI are lickng their chops

So far it's looks good for me...but I can remember doing a system analysis for COD2 and it said my system would rock COD2. That turned out to be a load of BS, almost everyone I knew had probs with that game.....and I resent buying a game hyped for it's stellar graphics only to have to dial it down and play with DirectX7 to make it work for me. I'm approaching MOHA with extreme caution and skepticism. Our COD2 server lasted a whole 2 months. Once bitten, twice shy.

I agree Frag, w/ my fingers crossed and hopes up but at the same time a bit pessimistic that EA won't screw this up. It really depends on the engine that runs it.

For COD try:
8.9.3.54
8.9.3.58
8.9.3.59

and COD-UO
8.9.3.55

Of all the COD genre, I liked COD-UO the best w/ jeeps and tanks

Yea - if ranked servers ? - would not be promising for MP.

Latest Info on MoHA

Post by FragQueen »

This is a 6 page review of a second go at MP.. Many issues have been addressed, others are in the process of being fixed. Best of all, no ranked servers. It's beginning to look promising.

based on the latest link above, FPS w/ a 8800 GTX pushing only 50+ FPS I wonder how well a 6600 will work if at all.

Even with a 7600gt oc I'm expecting to have to run it on less than max settings.........I have grave doubts about this. I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as video cards go. This would have to be one killer game for me to shell out any money on my system.
