Hi all,

Just had a chat with Felony and I have a suggestion you guys might like to liven things up around here. In my prior clan life we used to have rank challenges. Members could challenge each other to 1v1 or 2v2, etc battles for rank. TWL could make it rank or medals or however you want to structure it. A time and date is set and the battle is on. The rest of the clan gathers in spectate to taunt and talk smack. It's really a lot of fun, who doesn't like a little good natured competition? :stir: Here are a couple of videos of our matches. Part of me says, Yeah, sounds fun. But part of me says, hmmm.... so many factors would come into play. Interent connection, computer, time date......

Actually DS it's not that big of a deal...rarely are those things an issue, unless you are having a prob with your connection and computer. Are ya? Huh Huh Huh? I say don't borrow trouble. IT's FUUUUUN!

That sounds like life in the private sector of dog eat dog business ladder relationships compaired to the Monarchy we have at TWL.

Rank in TWL is about all around participation on the servers forums and ts - longevity - age (the older the better) - what a player brings to the clan, not so much about how good a player is.

Maybe some other form of challange could be designed. For example - TWL dollars could be awarded on the forums or something and people could wager on challanging each other. Id be happy to hear any thoughts on this?

That could be fun, Although High Ranks are for those who play alot, have TS, contribute on the forums, contribute to keeping the servers up and running, and help other players. Not just because they are good players. I don't believe someones rank should be lowered because they dont have 45 kills and 1 death. I think it would be fun to challenge each other for medals or some other kinda bragging rights for the players who like competition and smack talking. I just would not want to see any bad blood between clan members over something like that. We need to play together as a team I think that would be more in the interest of building up our clan.. ie..Scrims against other clans, or a elite group of TWL that participate in Ladder matches~! what do you guys think??

TWL DOLLARS and I vote for Frag!

what could this mean? a TWL currency system that places an additional value label for members that participate in the forums. How could this be done and what could we do with it. How about this.

Members receive a perdium / per post salary !

Members recieve bonuses for recruitment of good people.

Members could wager 1 on 1 challanges while others watch.

Great way to settlle petty disputes. lol

Clan members could make bets on the winner

Members could donate dollars to other members as a gift for a good post or whatever.

any other ideas ?

What do you think Fel - I've seen similiar forums that do something like this -

here $$$ are used to share with your fellow posters who deserve a bonus.

Well - Fel is looking into it and I asked Taz - at Tazcook's if he could send us some info on how he runs his on his site.

But here is what I invision.

Once a recruit is inducted into the the clan -he/she gets $100 TWL bucks

With every post you get $10 TWL bucks

If you like someones post - you can donate to thier purse. say $25 TWL bucks - "Great Post !!"

you could make a 1 on 1 challange and wager say $150 TWL bucks, or 2 on 2 etc whatever you agree on.

- Others watching could wager TWL bucks on thier favorite pick.

Some asked if they could buy TWL mugs or caps with TWL bucks and I think that would be difficult to convert TWL bucks into real cash lol

But Gas and I are looking into some possibilities for a TWL store feature - that is seperate.

any ideas or suggestions lets hear it.

Yes, what we were discussing was more along the lines of services that provide custom logo goodies like coffe mugs and ball caps.

I like the money idea system viper. ANd i like the medal idea. IT could be like The PWN award, or something and you only get it for winning a one on one match against a TWL member. (OF any rank)
