Puzzles

Post by ViPER »

I like puzzles - yes, even jigsaws lol

I really like Rubiks type cubes - here are some of mine
Image

As you can see they come in all shapes, colors and sizes. Square, round, pyramid, 12 sided, as big as 9 cm, as small as an inch. One is sided with pictures of all my dogs.

Here are some of my favorites
Image

left front is the Eastsheen 2x2 (much better then the rubik 2x2 as it is bigger and easier to turn)
front middle The Eastsheen 4x4 (also better then the Rukbiks revenge because of its ease of operation)
right front The Rubiks Professor 5x5 - well made and sturdy
left rear is the standard rubik 3x3
and right rear is the 12 sided Megaminx

I also like these classic wood style puzzles
Image

Here is the Rubik 3x3 "the father of cubes" and the 5x5 Professor cube
Image

Here is the Eastsheen 4x4 - which (as shown here) can also be used like a 2x2 - and ofcourse the Eastsheen 2x2
Image

Here is a link for virtual cube software that is free - it has 2x2,3x3,4x4,5x5,6x6,7x7,8x8,9x9 - etc... all the way up to 20x20

I am on the 6x6 lol

here is the 20 x 20

Ive had some discussions with fellow mappers and modders on making a custom map with a huge functioning cube for the player to solve - we all agreed it would be a major undertaking but not impossible. I shelved the idea for a day when other/better ideas run dry. LOL

I'm guessing that's one map that would be skipped more than played.

It is eaier when you smash it on the floor and put the peices back together. Who remembers the rubiks snake? That 20x20 is right out. Probably lose my mind just getting half of one side. I will stick to something simple like eating toast.

Rubix Magic

Post by Felony »

How many remember the Rubix Magic?

They are really hard to break, but getting mad enough trying to solve the damn thing, it breaks pretty easy.
