Custom TWL compass

I was messing around with the compass and made up this quick TWL mod - I think I will try a few more styles and see if anything good comes out of it.

could be better - any suggestions?

WEll you could use the 10th mountain division flag and put it in the middle of the compass. just an idea.

I like the concept and the clean (not busy) look. The only thing that comes to mind would be to remove the (2) red dots and make the arrow red. This way it would not be a distraction, easy to see and tell at a glance as to the direction.

Looks good. I think it would be cool to have a Viper head as the arrow.

I have a "what if" for ya.... Say ya put a circle around it, that connects to the directional arrow. And have the locater dots on the inside of it? Perhaps have TWL made out of brick or something...

I didn't like that old one so much - the clear moving parts was very distracting.

Here is a pic of my second attempt using the 10th mtn emblem as a background for the compass - The gold rays of light represent hope and glory. the mountain covered in snow is protected by two red swords that represent a fight to the death and is resting on a blue foundation that represents health and is matched in blue in the custom health bar.

The mechanical compass parts are stainless steel to match the TWL insignia. the objetive arrow and distance indicators are matching blue and red and the directional compass letters have been enhanced.

you can get the compass here for now, I am updating the downloads pages all coded in html so i will be added later.

TWL COMPASS

Note - this mod will scale down your compass - default is 0.75 and the new size is 0.575

If you remove the mod and wish to resize the compass you will need to reset the cvar like this-
