I'd like to nominate Stalker for the Distinguished Service Medal and make him an Honourary TWL member for entrusting us with his Der Vorposten map. He told me it took him and Phantom two years to put it together, and giving it to us to test is a huge honour...........not only speaks volumes for TWL in general, but shows his and our committment to the game itself.
Hip, Hip, Hooray!
Hip, Hip, Hooray!
See Ya There!
I agree with Target!
Not only giving TWL the opportunity to Beta test the map and use on the server but to allow ViP to add the ViP Mods to the map. From the way Stalker was speaking last night, there a couple more maps in production or on the way to completion. The maps being a series with the Der Vorposen map! Hopefully TWL will be the ones to Beta those maps as well!
Excellent jobs to both Stalker and ViPER!!!
I was looking at the medals and ViP has pretty much all of them, LOL! So, would it be possible to create a "Distinguished Flying Cross Medal"? For His "Outstanding" areial performance on Server #3.
This is for the rest of the TWL Clan!!

Maybe we can put together a series of awards for maps/mods to be awarded by TWL and presented to members or outsiders who we believe have achieved greatness in these areas.Moving Target wrote:I'd like to nominate Stalker for the Distinguished Service Medal and make him an Honourary TWL member for entrusting us with his Der Vorposten map. Hip, Hip, Hooray!
Keep in mind any first attempt at a great map takes a couple of years. I would say 90 percent of the maps in our map paks are at least 2 years in the making each. I agree that der_vorposten is a great map but it hasnt been released yet. I am associated with dozens and dozens of great map makers and TWL has participated in many unvailing of great maps from the likes of Bobzilla (e.g. Oil Rig) Cypher (e.g. Tallinn Church and Avignon) Nezzi (St. Mont Michelle) And when thinking of contributions of time tested greatness I think of Heroe mappers the likes of Gen Cobra, Voxel, Flying Sheep, Dreks, Slyke and Pantera. Rest assured we will give out some mapping awards seperate from this event. Good Idea!
Now let's focus on TWL members officers and enlisted. I have to say this every year - "Enough about me!", think of fellow members in game play - think of them on teamspeak or on the forums. Who contributes to making in game experience enjoyable? Who tests your skills and teaches you the most? Who do you miss when they are absent? Who do need when your under fire? Who strikes fear in your soul when the ticker announces they are preparing to join the battle?! This is your opportunity to pay your respects to your clan brothers.
Let the nominations begin!

Okay ViP...understood.
It's not because your the "Supreme Commander", your an "ACE" at flying! I don't :cheeks: ! Even if you were |PSC|Beardydragon flying that good, I would still nominate you! Anyway, I personally award you the DFC! Good flyin bro!
Here are my Nominations:
Medal of Honor - Felony Entertainment - For creating a superior web page and forum to communicate and share info about the clan/events and for visitors to come and see what TWL is about! Plus, still having enough time to come online and kick our butts. Good Job Felony!!
Soldier's Medal - Peas&Carrots - For making light (Thin) of any situation, keeping you upbeat. For staying by your side in battle (Thick) not switching sides or leaving in the middle of battle.
:pimp: Charlie Murphy!!!

Your Welcome!
I definelty understand your point, I do the same. Leading by way of example is the way to working as a team and achieving team success! :pimp:
There is nothing wrong with switching sides if above is the scenario. On writing the post I had in mind the people that switch to the winning team all of the time, leaving the underdog to gnaw on his bone in the corner.Whats wrong with switching teams ? A victory is bittersweet even shameful if the opponent is outnumbered. I consider switching teams a sacrifice for the team to achieve a glorious victory.
