Pauls new hold idea

Im working on a new idea Paul had for some holds. A gas trigger switch outside the hold that needs to be defended or those in the hold will get gassed. I think I have a working example for destroyed village church tower. maybe add a bomb version too.

that would make things interesting.....may even up the hold scores a little more. Adding new elements that people dont have to download seems to be a way to add some new life to MOH community. Good job,Keep Thinking!

Its on server one... ive done it for about ten holds.

I cant remember all but if you want to check they are......

destroyed village - the church tower

crossroads - church loft and hotel

stadt - axis house look under archway

verschneit - the second story balcony house in the courtyard, the one with the long straight staiwell

Holland - south and west house i think? look in the courtyard

couple others algiers ladder room and brest loft room.

Some holds are very hard to overrun if protected by 4 or more people.The reason for the seperate gas/bomb button is to make the team with the hold protect two areas.If 3 out of 4 are protecting the gas button the hold will be weak and visa versa.We played it last night and not sure if the gas triggers should be in sight of the hold or out of sight from it like in a room.If you play on the maps please post what you think...

yeah, now that the hard part is done I thought it could be used for some of the camper spots in objs like TLS server spawn gas switches in the hunt and V2 places like that.

Played it last night and it worked like a charm!.... :cheers: The switch should be out of the line of sight of the hold though or they can cover both from 1 spot. but not so far away that ya cant associate the 2. Does it change as the hold changes on the same map like if you were to change from winery to center building for example or is it fixed? The hold scores did end up being closer and made the hold more accessible to both teams... :twl:

This certainly adds a new dimension to the game. It really surprized some people :lol:

Now I don't know about planting these into camping spots... that's a National Sport :biggrin:
