The megaupload founder may get his assets back if his lawyers can win their case.This will put new zealand in a very bad position taking all his assets cars,house and money and closing his company if it was deamed not lawfull.He has not been charged with any crime in new zealand but we have arrested him and put him in jail for a month and taken all his assets after being asked from the usa to do so.This could cost nz a lot if he wins his case and sues us.

Well every time kim dot com goes to court he wins.Today the judge rules the warrants unlawfull and illegal.The police took everything where they had no right to.They also sent all the computer gear to the usa which was illegal.Everything has to be returned to dot com and it is a big hit against the fbi and this anti pirate campaign.The lawyers for the usa are deciding if they will challenge it but as yet everything the nz police/judge has done has been unlawfull.
I can see dot com winning more court cases and the fbi backing down or at least scaling the charge to a stupid charge and running for cover.As one tv program has put it the FBI has received stolen property and removed it from new zealand illegally,this is far worse than file sharing.
