Yes Frag I downloaded it last night and played it this morning, here are my thoughts;
No FPS issues
No sound issues
The graphics were great as expected
A little different game play than MOH but doable as the Quake engine i guess is dead, ok but different.
I want my "RED DOT", I have always hated the cross hairs, I will let Viper tell us we can add this mod to the game
All in all it plays quite well, but remember, PA played great in SP and sucked in MP
EA will probably suck me into purchasing the game :base:

I have played the demo as well, and i totally love the realism this version has!
I just hope that the MP will live up to what I have been reading. :pc:

Hmmmmmmmmmm, thanks for the post Frag, this is down right dumb. Is it EA's way of defending or legitimizing their security or to counter piracy? If they don't fix this quick, it will pi$$ off their clients and legitimate purchasers of the game that will cost them in the long run.
I am in no big rush to buy the game and I assume (hope) they are working on a patch for this. I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see how EA responds.

Has anyone bought the game? So far all I know is there are no dedicated servers and won't be until they release a patch. How stupid is that. Currently you run your own game and there is a 12 person limit. So once again, pc gamers are the ugly stepchild held captive in the attic. Way to go EA games.

Regarding MOH Airborne......
I had my IT guy at the office today, he was one of the many COD orginal testers.
He told my Airbirne is amazing he has not played online but single player but he was very impressed.
Worth a try?

I've only played the demo, and the graphics are awesome, the gameplay is fun. What I have read is that SP is really good but some are saying too short, someone remarked it could be completed in 10 hours or so. The problems with MP are in the forums. Only 6 maps, that could get boring pretty quickly. I don't think an editor was released, though I believe one is going to be. I also read somewhere where more maps will be released with the patch. I usually buy a game for the MP, that is what gives a game its longevity, thanks in large part to the mapping and modding community. I personally am waiting for the patch to address the dedicated server issue. Someone described the lag in MP as being like playing in mud. Sounds aggravating. Having gone through months of aggravation trying to run a COD2 server when it was initially released I'm hesitant to jump into it. I'm hoping EA is more responsive to the MP community and gets it together soon.
