ya at my house i have 14 cats now.(my mom has her own animal rescue) lately tow of my cats died adn on of my 3 dogs died. Anyway i have lots of cats and dogs. Their the same but dogs eat rocks......and hot tub covers..and food of the table...and the sideing of houses...and wood and more :D well on the other hand cats tear up things and pee in everything but there both great to have around. But i think we can all agree that the cleaning up after them...SUCKS

Cody well said.I have had cats,dogs,opossoms,hundreds of birds (i used to breed budgies,caneries and quails),rabbits,hedgehogs,mice and a goat.
I am in a small place now so we wanted something small and what can look after themselves.I actually want a rat but they stink.Our cats have never weed in the house apart from in the litterbox which was removed asap and a catdoor fitted.
Unfortunatly most people who have dogs dont exercise them the amount they should.Some dont get removed from their chain in weeks or months.If you do that with a cat they will just go and find new owners.

jimmy i think you have nz confused with australia.We dont have roos here,no snakes,no crocs,no deadly spiders....in fact nothing deadly at all.Nz is great (apart from our internet).

lmao .. about time someone noticed...lol but thats how things start.. an opinion on a pet turned into a great debate/slam page..lol... atleast there is passion about our opinions..yeah bill i said passion ... be still you animal...
the really great thing about all this.. we learn about each other and our homes...i wasnt aware of those facts about NZ... i also wasnt aware jimmy hunted for his dinner.. gives me a different view on our northern buddy..

DIET HELL! Time for gastric bypass surgery. LOL, I have a cat as well. Actually, my daughter and wife have a cat, therefore I HAVE A CAT. Don't ask me how this works, it just does.
