the mrs. doesnt like Pizza so I don't eat it very often. When I do, Im on my own or it's my birthday or something lol. Now Im bumbed out because my favorite delivery "Strictley to Go" closed 2 of its 3 locations - the original staying open is to far away to deliver to my house. Ive been eating this Pizza for over 20 years.

There are a couple Gourmet places in my area that serve really good pizza but they are expensive and not near by and do not deliver. I'v tried several delivery places near by like Dominoes, Round Table and thought they ware ok but no better than some frozen brands ive tried that I thought were just as good like - DiGiorno, Tombstone, Fraschetta.

I like to make my own - that's actually the best but I still like the quick and easy.

I worked with a guy that phone ordered pizza from Chicago - that some of the worlds best pizza places in Chicago and New York do this. Anybody try this?

Does anybody have a favorite Pizza delivery place - or even what you think is the best frozen Pizza?

My favorite pizza place was called Red Lions Pizza they delivered but me an my grandpa would always go there to pick it up an as i remember had some realy good pizza. An my grandpa must have been like the best customer because not long after he died they closed. Used to have pizza every week on friday :)

But obviously one of the best pizza places that deliver would be Round Table is what people say any way but it costs to much.

Up here what we usualy get (which it may be me but i like all pizza the same im not like most people who sit there saying how another is way better)
but over inside Kmart we have a Little Caesar pizza an you can get a good one for $5 for a large so its good an cheap to :)

But i dun realy eat much pizza or anything like that but it is good once in awhile :)

We only really have 2 main pizza places here thats dominos and pizza hut. They are in the citys and suberbs but if you go into the city there will be more specialized ones.I have proberly one pizza every 2 to 3 years,i had macdonalds about 9 years ago and kentucky fried about 15 years ago.The only takeaways (takeout for you strange people) i have is chinese. In the city we have a nice kababb shop and i have been known to call in there when i am in the city but i try to cook my own dinners because of cost and i can eat what and when i want.

Ok Vip, here is a good recipe for all who love to make their own. Lets face if you go to your favorite Pizza parlor, you don't always get what you ordered or it before but it is not the same twice.

Most Pizza places will sell their dough for........... well up here, a 16" dough will cost me $3.50. Now take a chunk of that dough and roll it out for a personal size pizza, add EVOO to both sides and throw it on the Bar-B at medium heat to get brown it on both sides.

Place you favorite red spaghetti sauce, hot Italian sausage, fresh mushrooms green peppers, jalapenos etc or an Alfredo sauce if you are doing something light like chicken. Then put on not just mozzarella cheese, Italian Parmesian regiamno cheese or what ever then throw it back on the Bar-B on low and cover to melt and heat.

Experiment, that is what makes it this Pizza so unique :thumbup1:

Viper,

As stupid as it might sound, Walmart deli pizza. It's not frozen - only cooks in about 12~15 minutes, you can add whatever ya like. :thumbup1:

They sell a 16" size, the all meat version clogs my arteries just looking at it

Try it! You'll like it :thumbup1:
