We're back...

SS and I made our way back from a 3 week road trip. Starting from Las Cruces we proceeded to New Port Richey FL and made some repairs to the house there and got a cat. (He's been in the family for about 8 years, but SS's mom was going to turn him in to the pound - so it was a rescue mission)
On the way there we stopped in Mobile AL and visited the USS Alabama battleship - I'll post some pics of that later. It's awesome to stand on a WWII battle ship and imagine the Zero's homing in on a kamakaze mission. This ship is loaded with anti-aircraft and 20mm guns. The 16 inch guns are magnificent. Wait til you see the pics.
From FL, we went to West (By God) Virginia to visit some relatives who might not be there next year if we were to wait. Then to Nebraska to see my mom, and finally back home.
It's good to be back, see you all on the battlefield.
