Here are some photos of the USS Alabama at the Battlehship Memorial Park in Mobile. I took 171 photos and can't show them all, but these are pretty interesting.

How many guns does that ship have. That is scary just looking at it.The amount of fire power in that one ship is a lot more than out whole armed forces.Apparantly our army has just taken the toy guns off our soldiers and given them all tazers.I feel much safer now knowing our 25 soldiers are armed and willing to stand up for our rights.

Hey Paul. There are over 2500 sailors onboard one battleship that size. The USA had about a dozen of those battleships deployed in WWII. Plus 8 aircraft carriers with just as many sailors.  God plus the men and women who have served and are still serving. :guns:

Cool Pics thanks!!!, I visited the Missouri at PH and soon, I believe we will have the Iowa in the bay area! The Iowa was rejected as a museum site in SF because we're a bunch of peace lovers! lol looks like it may reside at Mare Island.

Here is a list of some more WWII ship museums.

Also - the Aircraft carrier Hornet is based near me in Alameda. Here is a list of carrier museums -
