Unfortunatly a man died in new zealand yesterday when he was working on a jet plane. He was sucked into the enging and killed.
I know we have aircraft engineers in twl and this is just a warning how dangerous they can be.take special care every time you are around running engines.

It's always sad to hear that someone was killed by a turbine engine. They are very unforgiving and I always have huge respect for both business ends of any jet engine or APU. I know Sgt Push does too. We both have seen what they can do as both of us have worked the flight line as mechanics (engineers) for over 20 years. Most of my memories are of parking cones, chalks, air-conditioning hoses, hats and even a cargo can getting sucked in to an engine as well as them tumbling across the ramp after being blown off their carts.

We go thru annual repetitive training outlining the dangers. "DON'T GET SUCKED IN" is the course. Sorta like what you don't need to have happen when playing Nasty one on one. :worthy:

Thoughts and prayers for his family.
