Thanks for helping test this everybody. I understand its hard to tell what going on So --- I'm working on a mod that will create a squad for each team.

SQUAD BUILDER

Squad Builder is suppose to randomly (each round) assign a position for each player and give that player the appropriate weapons and uniform for that role. Create 2 complete squads - at least 4 on each team recomended. for example -

ALLIED SQUAD 4-12 players
1 - Lieutenant - SQUAD LEADER - 501st officer - Thompson
1 - Corporal - Sniper SPECIALIST - 501st officer - SVT
1 - Seargent - BAR SPECIALIST - 501st officer - BAR
1-9 - PVTs - scouts & Riflers - 501st soldier - Enfield

AXIS SQUAD 4-12 players
1 - Gruppenführer - SQUAD LEADER - Wehrmacht Officer - mp40
1 - Scharfschützin - Sniper SPECIALIST - Wehrmacht Soldier - G43
1 - M.G.Schütze - MG SPECIALIST - Kradshutzen - mp44
1-9 - Schützen - scouts & Riflers - Wehrmacht Soldier - Mauser

the trick in scripting this is making sure there is only 1 leader, 1 sniper and 1 MG.

the effect should be the realistic appearance of battle personnel and distribution of armaments. if utilizing teamspeak, a structural command scenario could be implemented in FTE field training exercises or VTE virtual training exercises. team members working together to protect their collective resources and personnel.

I plan to have Multiple squad selections. such as -

ALLIED SQUADS
501st airborne
101st infantry
British 6th airborne
Russian infantry

AXIS SQUADS
Wehrmacht
Winter infantry
Waffen SS
Afrika corp

some other options seem possible as well - I will keep you posted on the progress. :cheers:

This seems like a cool idea to mess around with. Sad I missed the testing phase. Is this something that would be on specific maps or a mode you would implement from time to time?

Hey arrow,

I'm still working on this Mod. It will be used with a special custom map rotation.
There are some problems scripting skin changes for axis and we still need to test the random selection of player roles.

We can start testing it again when I get back in town. :Beer:

That sounds awesome. Anyway I can help work out the bugs I'd be more than happy. I have been hopping on pretty much every night and checking the forums everyday. Let me know via PM or online in the server when you may need help. Safe travels.
