AMAZEING CONTEST

Post by ViPER »

yes check out madness mappak beta on server 2 - and submit your own design for a addon maze to the maze madness map. winners can choose thier own name for thier maze and the maze will be added to the map list. Here is how.

here is the grid -
Image

use the large brush with red color to design your maze - connect each side with at least one or multiple solutions. like this example -

Image

or you can use paint bucket to show large blocking segments like this -

hmmm - have you played the maze map yet? all you have to is redline the graph walls (like in my examples) and i will be able to apply that to the maze builder. there are no vents. lol

the image can be downloaded as a paint bitmap also- either way. Maybe i was unclear on the directions - Let me try again.

you can use this bmp to red line your maze-
Image

it represents this - which is the actual maze construction in the map editor-
Image

use the big brush and make it red to cross through the panels you want to have removed - makeing a trail that will be your maze solution.

Image

I will be able to select the panels you red lined -

Image

and delete them - resulting in this -

Image

You may also use paint bucket tool to make blocks to show you want all surrounding panels removed like this -

Image

means remove these -
Image

resulting in this -

Image

here is my "The Final Example"

design -

Image

construction -

result -

Remember to give it a name (that will need to fit in the hud - upper right screen) and you can choose a flooring for your theme if you like - choose one of....

grass "default"
foliage
dirt
concrete
wood
stone
snow
sand
metal grate
or
water

once again. Goodluck!

lol don't worry about Des - he cant say much. Des your submission is creative but is not in accordance with the system. lol

If you rework accordingly it I will be able to apply it to the grid.
