Time to hang up the spurs.......

Howdy guys,

After careful thought (and a very conspicuous absence from the TWL servers of late), I believe it's time to hang up my TWL spurs. As I posted several months back, my new modem at home is crap (and gives me crap ping and framerate). That, and a lot of personal stuff at home (selling house, child tutoring issues, etc.) prevent me from playing during key hours when most other TWL players are on. yes, I still jump in from work occasionally during lunch but most times, TWL servers are empty and I wind up playing over on FCF - only because there are players there for that one hour that I have.

I have been in 2 clans since 2003 - the first was the HiTMEN, and the latter, TWL. I had a ball with TWL and enjoyed playing with each and every member. I'm not a "clan" whore, but joining TWL was a natural step for me since I had such a gas playing with like-minded and mature players. Let's face it - I think I laughed more playing w/you guys than any other time gaming. It just felt good. I was honored to be asked to join.

Anyway, thanks to Viper, Jack, Drifter, MT, Felony and others who kept me in the admin loop regarding news, etc. And to everyone else who's ass I kicked (and who kicked mine) w/in the clan - it was a lot of fun.

To quote from the "holy grail," I'm not dead yet.... Just going to be very scarce during evenings and weekends for the foreseeable future, and you guys have a lot of new blood that should keep things cutting-edge around here. I don't take this decision lightly, but feel this is the right time to step off the bus.
