Here is the B17 sustaining heavy damage on return from a bombing run on the axis airfield (seen back left).
follow the leader - notice the pryamids.
Headed for the carrier.
Early morning approach.
The carrier - this shows a torpedo (seen front center) headed straight for it.
In this shot you can see the carrier is half sunk (lower right) after being hit by torpedo.
