Viper, thanks for the pics and the links. It's amazing these old birds are still flying, says something for the way we used to make 'em!

These photos are awsome,expecially the mustang.The old planes are wonderfull to watch and whenever i get the chance i will definatly be there.It is normal people like ourselves who keep these old birds in the sky.The pride the owners have seeing them flying must be awsome.I said seeing them fly is because here most of the planes like this are owned by a group of people and are not pilots.
As long as the crowds keep going to events people will keep restoring them.But sadly a few crash during shows and are gone forever or just simply get locked away at hangers somewhere.My favourite is the corsier with the bent wings.
We must also remember that all the aircraft you see has a history and at some point would have taken someones life.So to me this is more than the pleasure of seeing and hearing these wonderfull planes it is the history the plane has gone through and survived.
