<TWL> The War Legends

Just watched the latest - the seccond Stargate SG1 movie. The first movie "Ark of Truth" closed the season 10 "Ori" story line. The new movie - "Continuum" Ends the series with a Gao'uld story line right out of the pre season 9 Stargate.

No doubt this episode will satisfy Stargate fans with all that is expected from the Stargate of old.

Great to hear that. SS and I are big SG-1 fans. You know that it's a great series when it lasted 10 years, most of it on cable away from the reach of the great unwashed masses and their idiotic viewing really skews the ratings that kill great shows. I used to work for AC Nielsen in the engineering department where we made the gadgets that figured out what the "Families" watched. You know where the intellect of our society was at when the "A-Team" and "Three's Company" were at the top of the list. HA!

Iv never really gotten into the whole stargate thing, but think i might... im sure i could find the first season somewhere with online streaming :)

When ever iv seen stargate it has been half an episode one week, then trying to figure out what been happening 3 weeks later... So i think ill just sit down and watch them all... Wish me luck lol

Never watch the show. I do remember he first movie and I thought it was awsome. Love the storyline of the whole thing. I didnt think the show would be a big hit so I never watched it.

I guess I should have checked it out before making assumpation. But I do love sci-fi and show like CSI and what nots. CSI has been interesting but all the orginal characters are leaving. :(. The show will soon be down the drain. Specially since the main character is leaving (Grissom). So you can say Im lookng for new shows to watch.

CSI Season opener was a god one.

I never watched sg1 either till it was six or seven years into it we rented all of them from start to finish. Now it is right up there with my favorites Star trek NG and X-files.

OH X-files is da bomb. I loved watching that show. Miss it being on. :(
