no joke - this is the best water I have ever had.

We were at an Italian restaurant the other day and they served us the best water I ever tasted. It had a very subtle and refreshing taste and aroma. It was so good I asked what it was. He said it was made from various fruits that when reached the limit (had to go) for what was good enough to be presented on the plate of a dish - was sliced up and added to the water pitcher with some ice.

So when your fruit starts to age - rather then throw it out or wait for it to rott lol - make some tasty water with it. It doesn't matter what it is. Use oranges, lemons, lime, apples, peaches, pears, grapefruit, whatever you like or have, you could even use rose petals.

basic recipe - 1 apple, 1 orange - wash the fruit, slice it up and add it to a pitcher of water. Let it stand for a couple hours then add Ice and serve.

I was thinking for a tropical blend you could use mangos, pineapple, papaya, gauva etc.

in the summer you could chop off a couple pieces of the watermelon and add that to your pitcher of water.

oooh tangerine!
