A great group

Hey guys, at the risk of sounding all mushy, I just wanted to say that I've had a blast playing and chatting with you guys lately.
I go through periods where I'm away from the game for a while, then periods where I play often. It's an honor to be associated with such a great group of mature and entertaining players.

you know youre right, it is a great group, with the exception of Viper, cowlitz, crab, roadrunner, ouch, target, paul, peas uber, gas, hottie, houldie, shultz, whitefalcon, and a few others. the rest of the group is wonderful! HAHAHA

Since it's creation TWL has seen hundreds of great members, Some come and go and sometimes return over and over again. I've seen about six or seven of what I call Generations of TWL through the years. Bill mentions many that are from his time, the 3rd generation of TWL, but I think some of the best groups of people we've had at twl have been in the last couple years to present(especially since Bill left ).

I laugh inside when people say "it's not the same anymore - all the old timers are gone!!" For everyone that means something different. for me it's guys like Jack, Drifter, Body, Hercules and Ignorance. These early members mark a time for me that is significant mainly because my experiance in the game was new. Through the years we've seen so many great new members, even recentley that it sparks new life in the game. A game that unfortuneatly just gets older and older.

Cheers to the great people of TWL past and present that keep the game alive!

Well said viper i totally agree.The origional members dont pop in very often but its great when they do.People will always come and go or even just take a break for awhile but oneday that person will pop in for a game or two or just to say hello.
Since i have been in TWL some people have disappeared and some new ones have joined.
As new games are released the older ones will eventually vanish but spearhead is still active.Sure not as many people play it now from 4 or 5 years ago but the people who play it still enjoy it and refuse to move to the dark side (call of duty).
Spearhead is lucky to have players like viper who can make maps and mods and enjoy building them for people to play to keep interest up.After awhile the stock maps get a bit boring every day.
On a side note teamspeak is a awsome program which allows us all to communicate while playing games and from every country.Teamspeak can be a bit heated at times and different languages can be a bit of a challenge but thats why it is so great.
