It's hard to tell but there are may places to hide-

the terrain was generated from a 2 dimensional relief map.

And when you get cold you can go here -

UPDATE !

This is about 3/4s complete.
Here is the prototype loadscreen for "ICE".

Here is the readme info.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

OPEN TERRAINS

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Open Terrains is a set of large open areas designed for "Firemadness" style play conducive to
Snipping and rifling or whatever other madness.

//////////////////////////

History

//////////////////////////

At TWL we spend hours in the simplest little map called "Firemadness" practicing head on rifle combat.
the area is totally open inside a huge warehouse with little or no cover. It's 330 kb, that's a whole
lotta fun for your byte lol. The gameplay of Firemadness and the landscapes of Skylimit, Inspired my
creation of "Open Terrains".

//////////////////////////

Open Terrain consists of -

//////////////////////////

Ice - This landscape is very large and mostly flat. There are icy peaks and craigs
around some edges and corners and separating two expansive areas. The sun is out
so don't let the snow blindness get to you.

Rock - This is basically a huge Hill working up in the center. There are plenty of
trench veins or crevases to carefully move around with limited cover. The base around
the hill is fairly open so watch your flank.

Sand - This one is wide open with little protection with the exception of a minor central
slop and a hill top in the N/W corner. Axis spawn in the protected corner and They have the
high ground, but they are surrounded. Be sure your canteen is full before you go or you’ll
be dead in no time and remember - use the pyramids off in the distance to keep yourself oriented.

Hills - These green hills are light and rolling and provide a fair amount of cover if you are carefull.
There are some wide open spaces that give this map a fairly balanced terrain.

Island - Play king of the Hill on this smaller setting for 2 to 4 players in the style of "Firemadness".

//////////////////////////

Gametypes

//////////////////////////

ALL TDM/FFA/RB

//////////////////////////

Thank You!!

//////////////////////////

Thanks goes to JV_Map (Sand & Island) and Atomic (Hills) for the terrains from SkyLimit.

Thanks to Amethyst7 (Ice & Rock) for the Sky textures.

Also Thanks to the guy who made that little Firmadness map.

Enjoy!

The Top left picture looks like the mountains Afghanistan
The second one looks a lot like the ANWR area here in AK beyond the brooks range
