I have the No CD exe files for both Call of Duty and Call of Duty United Offecive. If you would like them. please send me an email and I will send them to you with instructions on how to install.
Not sure if my laptop will run COD, but I'll pick up a copy and try after I get back from Maui in Dec....................gotts ta wonder about a game named after a fish, tho'.
Here's another opportunity to show off my computer illiteracy. Race, if I use your no CD exe file will it allow me access to the server w/o purchasing the game? If so, you can send it to:
I was told that you do not need the No-CDexe if you are going to play the multiplayer game, however I have not played the multiplayer as of yet. I will let you know after I try it this evening.
You will need to load the game in order to play it (duh). The exe files that I have will allow you to play the game without putting the cds in the machine. I remember once being told that either COD or the BattleFeild game checks the games code when you log onto a multiplayer game, and that a game server would not allow anyone that has the same game code on the server at the same time (hope that makes sense).
That would be BF2. UO however was one of the first games which allowed a player to be banned by CD key hence making it impossible for a cheater to play unless he bought new software. That's pretty hard core anti cheat. Anyway no CD needed for MP, but needed for SP.
